Venues at Edge Esmeralda 2024
A sneak preview of the spaces we've reserved for the June festivities
Reminder: Make sure to book lodging and buy tickets soon! Prices go up each Saturday, and we only have a limited number of hotel rooms at the rates we negotiated.
Here’s a preview of the Edge Esmeralda venues so you can start imagining the flow for June and prepare for any sessions you may be hosting!
This post just has a high level overview of the venues. If you’re planning a track or a session, here is where you can find more details about each venue (e.g. capacity, type of room, and more photos to get a sense of the space).
One of the reasons we were so excited to work with Healdsburg locals to create this “popup village” is that Healdsburg is a beautiful town with a walkable town center that prioritizes local businesses. It also has some amazing venues and gathering spaces, punching well above its weight class in terms of culture and dynamism.
More details are coming soon on how you can book these spaces for your sessions. In the meantime, I recommend reading our blog post on our philosophy around the programming calendar.
Event spaces in our partner hotels
Many of our talks, workshops, and lectures will be in our hotel partners’ event spaces that are co-located with the hotel rooms, which will make it convenient for people who booked lodging through us to get to and from the daily events.
Hotel Trio is our main hotel hub, complete with sauna, cold plunge, and healthy breakfast. There are many quiet spaces in the hotel to meet, work, or host an informal talk in the conference room.
Dry Creek Inn and The Lodge at Healdsburg are 2 minutes from Hotel Trio, and again have plenty of informal work and meeting spaces, as well as a more formal event space we plan to activate.
H2Hotel and Harmon Guesthouse are next to each other right off the main plaza, and again have several event spaces we plan to use frequently for lectures and talks.
CraftWork Co-working and Podcast Space
Jim Heid is a local Healdsburg resident we have come to call a friend after all of our visits to his co-working space in town, CraftWork. Co-working and podcast space by day, in the evening it transforms into a hub for learning and discussion.
The Raven Theater
The Raven Performing Arts Theater, a pillar of the Healdsburg community, is the largest venue in town with seating for 400 and a great AV setup.
Healdsburg Community Center
Located close to Hotel Trio, the Community Center hosts kids camps by day and baseball on the field in the evenings. On Sundays, it will host our kids programming.
The Slaughterhouse
One of the most serendipitous moments to come out of our last scouting trip was meeting Alan and Serena from Cartograph Wines. They have the most incredible historic ex slaughterhouse, which we plan on using as an art gallery and creative space.
We will also have additional co-working spaces for Edge Esmeralda attendees to work during the week and weekend, as well as additional spaces such as Villa Chanticleer and the Paul Mahder Gallery bookable for larger groups as needed.
This list will continue to evolve as we partner with more local spaces. If you know somewhere that would be a great fit, let us know at info@edgeesmeralda.com.
A big thank you to our partners, and see you all soon in Healdsburg! ☀️
We life close to Healdsburg, all the venues are great choices!!
