Tips to prepare for joining us in June

We’re so excited to see you at Edge Esmeralda! We put together this checklist for things to think about as you make your plans to join us in June:

1. Buy your ticket · tickets.edgeesmeralda.com

   • To decide dates, look at the programming calendar to see what tracks, sessions, and activities are most interesting to you: calendar.edgeesmeralda.com

   • Note: The calendar will continue to evolve and grow as we get closer to the event. Read more about our programming philosophy.

   • You’re welcome to join for as short or as long as you’d like, though we encourage longer stays to get the full immersive experience!

2. Book housing · edgeesmeralda.bed-booking.com

   • Lodging is running low, and prices for lodging & tickets will go up each week, so we strongly encourage you to book ASAP!

   • We wrote this housing guide to help you figure out lodging. We’ll continue to add to it as we collect more tips and get more negotiated hotel rates!

3. Brainstorm ways to contribute

   • Bring your expertise and enthusiasm to Edge Esmeralda by hosting a session, or perhaps even a full track!

     • In the coming weeks, we will share a way to add sessions to the programming calendar. In the meantime, email info@edgeesmeralda.com if you have an idea for a session you’d like to host.

     • A note on our programming philosophy – Edge Esmeralda follows the unconference format. We, the organizers, see our job as cultivating emergence rather than centrally planning the schedule. Our goal is to create the conditions for you, the attendees, to engage and build awesome things on top of the light structure we provide.

   • Another way to contribute is to help coordinate things like childcare, carpools, camping/vanlife communities, kids activities, and beyond.

     • Once you buy your ticket, you will get access to the attendee group chat, where you can collaborate on these sorts of shared community resources.
